do you accept insurance?
We are currently considered out-of-network providers with all insurance companies. We will happily provide you with a “superbill” to be used for reimbursement. Please contact MPTC with additional questions or help submitting directly to your insurance company.
How can I get my child started?
Please send us an inquiry through our contact page or email us at info@magnoliaptc.com. We will provide additional information regarding scheduling and availability to initiate our intake process.
Where are services provided?
Services can be provided in a number of environments including our clinic space, in home, schools, telehealth, or community settings based on scheduling and availability. We are also happy to collaborate directly with other providers and school teams.
What can I expect from an Evaluation?
Evaluations start with a virtual parent interview to gather information regarding your primary concerns and how your child is participating in daily routines across environments. Next, an in-person evaluation will take place at our clinic space. Our providers use a combination of standardized assessments and clinical observations to gather information and create a plan of care for your child. You will receive a detailed report approximately 2 weeks following the evaluation.
What does a treatment session look like?
Therapy looks a lot like play! Goal-directed activities are designed to support your child’s development, while actively engaging them and having fun. Our sessions last approximately 50 min, with 3-5 minutes reserved to check-in at the end of sessions.
Can I join my child’s session? Can I drop my child off for therapy?
Yes! We believe parents and caregivers are an integral part of the therapeutic process and your involvement helps support carryover across environments. We ask that you actively engage in your child’s therapy session and avoid phone usage during that time. We also understand there are times that dropping your child off for their session is necessary. Please make sure we have an active emergency contact on file and plan to arrive back at the 50 minute mark.
My child just had an evaluation. Do they need another one?
Not necessarily. Please provide us with a copy of the report to review. For all new clients, we plan to complete a virtual parent interview as part of the intake in order to understand your current priorities for therapy. For children transitioning out of early intervention services, we recommend a full evaluation.
