Kalayla is a WA state licensed and ASHA certified speech language pathologist. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has been practicing for over 10 years. 

Kalayla has experience in pediatric outpatient and in-home settings serving families from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Kalayla has experience working with children of all ages who have language delays, motor speech disorders (e.g., Apraxia), feeding difficulties, stutters, Autism, ADHD, and rare genetic disorders. 

Throughout Kalayla’s career she has worked closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and special educators. This gives her a unique ability to make appropriate referrals and hold in mind whole child development as it relates to communication. 

Kalayla’s passion is to help children communicate with their loved ones and give them the communication tools they need to accomplish their dreams. She understands that supporting the child-caregiver relationship is essential to making meaningful progress.
