Katie Schripsema, MOTR/L, MT-BC
Katie Schripsema is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience working with kids across many settings including schools, outpatient clinics, community groups, foster care, and early intervention. She holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Mexico and Bachelor’s degrees in Music Therapy and Flute Performance from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
Katie is passionate about practicing with a “regulation first” mentality, prioritizing a sense of safety and social connection for each client. She specializes in sensory integration and supporting families in understanding their child’s individual nervous system in order to identify supports that meet the needs of the family.
